    Campus Entry & Exit

    Drop Off: Monday - Friday: 8:15 - 8:30 am.

Pick Up: Monday, Tuesday, Friday: 3:00 - 3:15 pm, Tuesday, Thursday: 2:00 - 2:15 pm.

    Front of School

Please do not U-Turn or Double Park in front of the school from either side of the street. The primary area for drop-off/pick-up in front is the parking lot west of the school building. We have new signs to reinforce this rule.  If you must use the front of the school, please pull up as far as you can on the curb so cars can pull behind you (like a taxi line).  If you park across the street, please get out of your car and walk your student safely across the street.

    Back of School

Drop-offs and Pick-Ups are no longer permitted in the Millbrae Recreation Center Parking Lot. To relieve congestion in the lot, we recommend that students be dropped off at the drop-off zones off of Richmond Drive in front of the district office.  These designated areas are designed to handle the volume of traffic and are equipped with safety measures to protect all students.

    Classroom Supply Lists:

Supply lists are handed out by individual teachers during the first week of school. Students should bring a pencil or pen and a water bottle the first day. Students will have some time to get supplies for their classes.

    Cell Phone / Smart Device

We are a phone free school. Students will be provided with a pouch to put their devices in for the duration of the school day. Students will keep these pouches in their backpack. Students who need to contact home may use the phone in the office during brunch or lunch.

    Picture Day

We will have a school wide picture day on Tuesday, August 19. Students will take their photo during their PE class. You can order pictures by clicking here:

Taylor Administration

  • Mrs. Erin Zlatunich

     Principal

     Taylor Middle School

      ezlatunich@millbraesd.org

I am honored to serve as Principal of Taylor Middle School, where we are home to approximately 750 amazing students. I love working in education and am deeply committed to creating opportunities for all students to be successful academically, socially, and emotionally. Entering my 20th year in the district, and my fifth year in administration here, the Millbrae community holds a special place in my heart. I grew up here, attended Meadows and Taylor, and have the privilege of giving back to the place that shaped me.

We are incredibly fortunate to be part of such a supportive and engaged community. When I’m not at school, I enjoy spending time with my four boys and our two dogs, tending to the garden, hiking, and working out.

    Mr. William Romer

    Assistant Principal

     Taylor Middle School

      wromer@millbraesd.org

Bill Romer is a former middle school teacher and educational software producer who was raised by a family of educators.

A native of Cincinnati, he taught high school in New York City before moving to the Bay Area.  He worked for many years in educational technology for several Bay Area companies, before returning to the classroom in 2009.  In 2017, Mr. Romer became a nationally board-certified teacher and he is beginning his third year as an administrator.

When not at Taylor, he loves living in the fog and exploring the area with his wife and son.

    Mr. Christopher Nichols

    Assistant Principal

    Taylor Middle School

Mr. Nichols grew up in San Mateo County and joins us from El Camino High School where he served as the Director of Activities. At El Camino he played a role in creating and fostering a positive and fun school environment for students and staff, and that is work he  looks to continue here at Taylor Middle School. During his career in education he has worked with children of all ages, newborns to high school seniors, serving in a variety of roles. He has worked with students as a campus safety supervisor, a flag football and wrestling coach, a classroom teacher, a school director and a school administrator. During his time as a teacher he taught US history, economics and student leadership.

In his free time he enjoys spending time with his wife and two children. Mr. Nichols and his wife take in many dance recitals, baseball games, and drama performances that his children participate in. When he is not watching his children’s sporting events and performances, he enjoys Disney vacations, all Marvel movies and TV shows, and watching the 49ers win on Sundays during football season.
