    Greetings Taylor Families,

We hope you have enjoyed your time with your families and we are excited for this coming school year!

    2022-23 School Calendar

    Welcome New Student Day

All new students to Taylor are invited to join us on Thursday, August 11 to purchase/pick up the PE uniform, tentative schedule, take a tour with some Leadership students, take the school photo, and learn more about the happenings of Taylor.

The times are broken down by last name to come to campus:

    Incoming 6th grade students:

    10:00 am - A-F

    10:30 am - G-L

    11:00 am - M-S

    11:30 am - T-Z

New 7th and 8th grade students can attend beginning at 12:00 pm. The doors close at 1 pm.

PE Uniforms may be purchased this day (shorts, shirt, and bag–$45, shorts and shirt–$35, just shorts or just shirt – #20 each).  PE gear may be purchased on-line and picked up on August 11th with proof of purchase.  Cash, check, or charge will be available to purchase on August 11th or during the first week of school through the PE teachers.

Returning students may purchase PE Gear during the first week of school from the PE teachers by cash, check, or proof of purchase from an online order.

Online orders can be made by clicking the link below:

    Vaccinations

All students entering 7th grade must provide immunization records for Tdap and the 2nd Varicella in order to be eligible to attend school. Please email your child’s immunization records to pevans@millbraesd.org no later than Wednesday, August 17.

    New Bell Schedules

We have discovered the need for additional teacher collaboration time along with some extra help and support time for some students.  Please notice we have schedules that indicate a Block Schedule on Wednesday and Thursday, we have a new start time at 8:35 A.M. and Early Release every Wednesday and Thursday at 2 P.M..  We know that this additional time will really inform our work and provide better outcomes for our students.

    Classroom Supply Lists:

The lists are handed out by individual teachers during the first week of school.  However, if you want to get started prior to that time, you and your child will know that pens, paper, pencils, etc. are always needed at school.  Students will have some time to get supplies for classes.

    Student Schedules:

All returning students may pick up their schedules on the first day of school or they may access them through Student Vue beginning around August 10th

We look forward to an incredible year!  Please enjoy the short time you have left!

    Take care,

Erin Zlatunich and Rob Slauson, Taylor Principals.
