Citizens' Bond Oversight Committee

In November of 2024, the voters of the Millbrae Elementary School District passed Measure J, a General Obligation Bond to repair and modernize our aging schools.  In accordance with Education Code sections 15278-15282 and applicable board policy, the Millbrae Elementary School District Board of Trustees has established a Citizens' Bond Oversight Committee to review and report on the proper expenditures of bond proceeds.

In accordance with Education Code Section 15278 (b) and Regulation 7214, the Citizens’ Bond Oversight Committee shall: a) inform the public concerning the District’s expenditure of the GO bond proceeds; b) review expenditure reports produced by the District to ensure that the bond proceeds were expended only for the purposes set forth; and c) present to the Board in public session, an annual written report outlining their activities and conclusions regarding the expenditures of the bond proceeds.

The following members were appointed by the Millbrae Elementary School District Board of Trustees on March 4, 2025 and will serve a 2-3 year term.
