Dear Parents and Guardians of the Millbrae School District,
With September being our first month of school, it is a good time to remind all of us about the importance of safety around our schools and in our community with many of our students walking to and from school.
Yesterday, it was reported that a silver Honda Element has approached two adults in our community, yelling and trying to coerce them to the car. We have been in contact with our School Resource Officer about these incidences. Should you observe anything suspicious, please call Millbrae Patrol at (650) 363-4911.
We would appreciate your assistance with the following messages at home:
- Please remind our students to walk in groups to and from school. Students also need to be reminded to immediately report any approach from strangers at any time.
- For drop off and pick up of students, please be sure that our students are crossing streets in crosswalks and not in the middle of streets.
- In our commitment to our neighbors, please do not block any driveways or move trash cans onto lawns while waiting for our students after school.
Thank you for your support to our students and schools!
